Bare Root Plant Material: All plant material is sent bare root. Our bare root plant materials are sent in a dormant state so there may be no green leaves on the plants. All of the bare root plants are viable but dormant. The advantage is that the bare root plant(s) are less expensive to you and a larger tree can be sent bare root that could not be sent containerized via a parcel carrier. All bare root materials are guaranteed and must be planted as a condition to the assertion of a death loss by you. It may take up to 90 days for the plants to break dormancy. No warranty claims will be reviewed until the expiration of 90 days after the delivery date. We provide planting instructions to help ensure proper planting and growth of all plant material that is sent.
Warranty: All orders are accepted subject to crop failure. All stock is guaranteed true to name and healthy when it leaves Meadowview. Liability for any reason is limited to plant replacement.
Refunds: Refunds on cancelled orders prior to shipment are subject to a 6% processing charge. Refunds are no longer available one week prior to shipment of your order. Please contact Meadowview Garden Store at

Loss Claims: If you have properly cared for your newly transplanted trees, shrubs or plants, and you experience a loss within one year from the date of delivery of such product, send an email to

. We will, upon receipt of payment of one-half of the current price of the replacement plant that you choose, plus shipping, replace any plant or tree that died during said first year. Meadowview Garden Store will only replace the plants or trees one time. In the event that the plant, tree or shrub that you purchased is not available, we will provide a similar categorized item (ie. tree for tree, shrub for shrub, perennial for perennial, etc), upon receipt of payment as provided above. Meadowview Garden Store will not, in any event, refund the purchase price for the original product. Meadowview Garden Store may require that all plants and trees that are being claimed as a loss be returned to our company address, at the purchasers' expense, to validate the claim, or we may request pictures (print or digital) of the claimed materials. Our guarantee does not cover plants that are planted in a Growing Zone not recommended for the plant as posted on each plant’s detail page.
Shipping Schedule: Most plants ship in the spring, mid February thru early June. Exact dates are determined by regional climate and plant material ordered. Once you place an order you will receive an email with an approximate ship date. As the season approaches you will receive a more accurate shipping date via email. Most of our plants are harvested right before they are shipped so Mother Nature may change the date, but we do everything we can to get your order shipped in a timely matter. The majority of orders will be shipped via USPS priority, however some larger orders will be shipped UPS. We will notify you if your order is going to be shipped via UPS.
Shipping Damage Claim: We will reship the damaged replacement product after the delivering carrier has approved the damage claim. Packaging must be kept until carrier approves claim. If we are currently out of stock of that item, we will gladly offer a substitute, or you may wait until the next shipping season for your area. We will not honor claims that are made more than 48 hours after receipt of the damaged product. |
