Description: 50 ft high, single or multi-stemmed slender tree with up to a 30 ft spread. Native birch has white bark that will appear after 3 to 4 years. This tree will grow well in moist soils and full to partial sun. It has conspicousou yellow flowers that bloom in mid-spring. This tree is a very popular landscape tree and it is great for nothern climates. Native birch has a moderate to fast growth rate.
